The Alamein Africa Business Forum has officially begun in New Alamein City, bringing together approximately 1,500 participants, including government officials, business leaders, investors, and representatives of financial institutions from various African countries.
The three-day forum addresses a number of key economic issues, including promoting trade and investment, supporting food security, energy, infrastructure, and financing, as well as exploring opportunities for greater economic integration among African countries.
During the forum, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly highlighted Africa’s significant potential for economic growth, supported by its abundant natural resources, large market, and young population. He also pointed to promising opportunities in manufacturing, energy, agriculture, technology, services, and the digital economy.
Egypt’s hosting of the forum comes as part of its efforts to strengthen economic and investment cooperation with African countries and support partnerships between companies and financial institutions, contributing to increased trade and investment across the continent.
